We hope to have our new website up and running within the next few weeks. The blog has served us very well but it is time to give the furniture a better platform from which to be displayed.

As soon as it goes live we will have a link here to re-direct you.

In the meantime we will continue to update the blog as usual.

Its a very busy time at the moment. The new website is about a month away (end of August) and we are busy preparing new stock for a new show in September.

Organised by Modernshows the new show gathers 20 of the best vintage furniture dealers in a converted Edwardian warehouse in Fulham over three days. We are very excited to be taking part and will be showcasing some very special items of furniture. Please see the link below for more information and tickets, we hope to see you there.

Thank you to everyone who came to see us at the Modernshow at Dulwich College in March.  We had a very enjoyable day and it was great to meet everyone. See you at the next one.

Welcome to MCM Interiors. We are passionate collectors and dealers of classic Mid Century Modern furniture & decorative art from the 50's, 60's and 70's based in Surrey just outside London.

MCM Interiors is more than just a business, for us it is a way of life. We are lucky enough to live in a unique piece of Mid Century Modern architecture designed in 1964 which has been furnished with items we have passionately collected over the years. From here we offer some of the most beautiful collectable furniture displayed in a very inspirational setting. We very much encourage customers to view items in this unique showroom.

We focus on high quality items and usually stock pieces by some of the most respected American, British and Scandinavian designers of the mid 20th century.

Our furniture is sold internationaly with many established customers in the far east with a good client base in Japan.
As well as dealing with interior designers, architects and commercial buyers the majority of our furniture is purchased by people who want beautiful collectable furniture for their home which is both a sound investment and an informed design statement.

Danish furniture is a particular passion of ours, in our view Danish design with its clean uncluttered aesthetic and an obvious respect for craftsmanship and traditional cabinetry gave us furniture that is modern, warm and tactile with a clear reverence for natural materials. This style is both classic and timeless and rubs shoulders easily with other decorative styles.

Within our inventory you will often find items designed by some of our favourite designers such as, Arne Vodder, Niels Moller, Hans Wegner, Peter Hvidt & Orla Molgaard Nielsen and Finn Juhl. We also try to offer beautiful items produced by some less well known designers.

We always strive to offer one of the best selections of classic Danish Modern furniture for sale in the UK.

Why a Blog instead of a website?...... we like to keep things bang up to date and with a quick turnover of stock we have found that a Blog allows us to update content very quickly, this suits both us and our customers.

We hope you enjoy what we have to offer, if you have any questions or queries please drop us a line.
